Role
Since 2017, when Psilocybin and MDMA achieved "breakthrough status," I have championed scientific discovery, conducting vital and pertinent research needed by the VA and DoD to expedite access to these medicines following rescheduling.
Inspiration
While conventional psychotropics can help alleviate various symptoms, they fall short of effecting cures. But when paired with appropriate therapies and administered by appropriately trained clinicians, psychedelics offer real hope of ending certain kinds of suffering!

I have devoted the last forty years to supporting the healing of those who have served and sacrificed greatly to protect this nation—among whom I include first responders and their family members. I bring a unique understanding of, relationship to, and care for people who have worn the cloth of this nation, and I am dedicated to their ongoing healing.
