I have 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families with cancer through individual counseling while supporting group leadership and developing and managing wellness programs. As a therapist participating in clinical trials, I investigate the use of psychedelic medicines for cancer patients, as well as people experiencing depression and PTSD.
I dream that our work at Sunstone will lead to psychedelic-assisted therapy becoming a part of whole-person care in every oncology practice.

Role

As a Sunstone therapist, I support study participants with therapeutic care and compassion throughout the clinical trial experience. I help them prepare to make the most of their psychedelic experience, accompany them throughout the experience, and promote openness, curiosity, and wonder as they integrate new insights into everyday life. One of the most meaningful aspects of my work is facilitating integration in a group setting as we build a community for our past study participants.

Inspiration

I am inspired by our clinical trial participants and their dedication to finding healing and meaning in their own lives—and making a difference for others in the future. It takes great determination, openness, and courage to find and participate in a psychedelic study. I am moved to continuously learn, grow, and lean in to make their experience meaningful and to contribute through our work together to a future where many more can benefit from psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Therapeutic Lens

My background is in spiritually integrated psychotherapy with a focus on the care of individuals and families experiencing a cancer diagnosis.
